ঝাড়গ্রাম:- নিম্নচাপের নাগাড়ে বৃষ্টিতে ধুয়ে গিয়েছে কালভার্ট সংলগ্ন পিচ রাস্তা। রাস্তা ও কালভার্ট সারাতে প্রশাসন উদ্যোগী হয়নি বলে অভিযোগ গ্রামবাসীর। জামবনি ব্লকের কেন্দুয়া থেকে বাঘুয়া যাওয়ার পিচ রাস্তার মাঝে এই কালভার্টের অনেকখানি মাটি ধুয়ে গিয়েছে। স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা বাঁশ বিছিয়ে কোনও রকমে পারাপারের ব্যবস্থা করেছেন। তবে ওই রাস্তায় প্রায় দু’মাস যানবাহন চলাচল বন্ধ রয়েছে।
আগস্ট মাসের পাঁচ ও ছয় তারিখে নিম্নচাপের তুমুল বৃষ্টি হয়েছিল ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলায়। ঝাড়গ্রাম শহর সহ জেলার বহু এলাকা জলবন্দি হয়ে গিয়েছিল। ডুবে গিয়েছিল গ্রামাঞ্চলের বহু এলাকা। প্রবল বৃষ্টির জন্য বেশ কিছু রাস্তাঘাট ধুয়ে গিয়েছিল, কালভার্ট ভেঙে গিয়েছিল।
শুধুমাত্র বাঘুয়াই নয় ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলায় এই রকম ২২-২৩ খানা কালভার্ট ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। কিন্তু এখনও সেগুলি সারানোর উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়নি। কিছু সংস্কারের কাজ খুব ধীর গতিতে চলছে। প্রশাসনিক সূত্রে অবশ্য দাবি, ওইসব ভেঙে যাওয়া রাস্তা ও কালভার্ট সরানোর জন্য অর্থ বরাদ্দ করে শীঘ্রই কাজ হবে।
