চন্দননগর: চন্দননগর মেড়ীর মাঠের পাশে একটি সভাগৃহে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েগেল। ৮১ তম চন্দননগর স্পোটিং এসোসিয়েশনের নির্বাচন। এদিন সকাল থেকে চন্দননগরের প্রায় ২০ টি ক্লাবের সদস্যরা নির্বাচনে অংশ নিয়ে থাকেন। তবে এদিন সকাল থেকে বেশ টান টান উত্তেজনা ছিল এই নির্বাচনে। এলাকার বাসিন্দাদের থেকে পথ চলতি মানুষেরা একাই কথা বলতে শোনা গেল। এ যেন বিধানসভার নির্বাচন।যাই হক সকাল থেকে টান টান উত্তেজনার জন্য নির্বাচনের স্থানের অদূরে রাখা হয়েছিল সাদা পোষাকে চন্দননগর থানার পুলিশ।
সকাল থেকে দুপুর পর্যন্ত ভোট ভুটির পর বিকালে চন্দননগর স্পোটিং এসোসিয়েশনের 81তম নির্বাচনের ফলাফল ঘোষণা করা হয়। নির্বাচনের ফল প্রকাশিত হবার পর দেখা গেল আগের ফুটবলের সম্পাদক শুভদীপ বন্দোপাধায় কে পরাজিত করে এবার নুতন ফুটবল সম্পাদক হয়েছেন। প্রাক্তন ইস্টবেঙ্গল দলের ফুটবল খেলোয়াড় (চাঁদু)প্রনোবীর ঘোষাল। এছাড়াও চন্দননগর স্পোটিং এসোসিয়েশনের প্রাক্তন সহ সম্পাদক বিশ্বজিত ঘোষ আবার নুতন ভাবে নির্বাচিত হয়ে সেই পদেই ফিরে আসলেন।এই নির্বাচনের একটি অবাক কাণ্ড হয় যা নিয়ে নির্বাচনের প্রিসাইডিং অফিসার কে বিক্ষোভ দেখান নির্বাচিত কিছু সদস্যরা। তাদের দাবি হেরে যাওয়া কোন ক্লাবের সদস্য পরকশি ভোট কি ভাবে দিলেন। যা আইন বিরোধী কাজ। বিক্ষোভকারীরা জানান এই বিষয়ে আলোচনার পর আমরা চাই উচ্চ আদালতে একটি মামলা দায়ের করতে।
