রায়গঞ্জ : একশোটি গ্রামের হাজার হাজার মানুষের একমাত্র রাস্তাটি গত পাঁচ বছর ধরে বেহাল হয়ে পরে রয়েছে, হেলদোল নেই ব্লক বা জেলা প্রশাসনের। রাস্তা মেরামতের দাবীতে বহু আন্দোলন অবরোধ করে সুরাহা হয়নি। তাই এবার দলমত নির্বিশেষে অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য রায়গঞ্জ- চাপদুয়ার সড়ক অবরোধ করল হাজার হাজার গ্রামবাসী। ঘরবাড়ির টিন বেড়া দিয়ে পথ আটকে রেখে বিক্ষোভে শামিল হয়েছে স্কুল ছাত্রছাত্রী থেকে এলাকার বাসিন্দারা। ঘটনাস্থলে রায়গঞ্জ ব্লকের বিডিওসহ রায়গঞ্জ থানার বিশাল পুলিশবাহিনী। আন্দোলনকারীদের দাবি আজ থেকেই শুরু করতে হবে রাস্তার মেরামতের কাজ। যতক্ষন রাস্তা মেরামতের কাজ শুরু না হওয়া পর্যন্ত তাদের এই অবরোধ আন্দোলন চলবে বলে জানিয়েছেন স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা।
