পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর:- মর্মান্তিক পথ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যু হল এক গরু ব্যবসায়ীর। মৃতের নাম সিরাজ মল্লিক(২৬)। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরের ফুলবেড়িয়ায়।জানা গেছে, আজ সকালে গড়বেতার লিপিন গ্রামের বাসিন্দা সিরাজ ক্যেকটি গরু একটি ম্যাটাডোরে চাপিয়ে শোভাওগড়ের হাটে নিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। যাওয়ার পথে ফুলবেড়িয়ায় আচমকাই ম্যাটাডোরটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে ফেলে।
ঘটনাস্থলেই মৃত্যু হয় সিরাজের। খবর যায় থানায়। গড়বেতা থানার পুলিশ এসে মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য মেদিনীপুর মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠায়। ঘাতক গাড়িটিকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ, কিন্তু পালিয়ে যায় ম্যাটাডোর চালক।
