প্রায় ১কোটি টাকার হিরোইন সহ গ্রেপ্তার ৪। ঘটনাটি মুর্শিদাবাদের সুতির। মঙ্গলবার গভীর রাতে সুতি থানার পুলিস গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে ইসলামপুর এলাকার একটি বাড়ি থেকে ৪জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে। পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে বেশ কিছু দিন ধরেই খবর আসছিল হেরোইন পাচার করার। কিন্তু তাদের হাতে নাতে ধরতে পারা যাচ্ছিলো না।
মঙ্গলবার ওই এলাকা থেকে নাজিবুল সেখ, রাহুল সেখ, সহিদুল সেখ এবং সফিকুল ইসলাম নামে ৪জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে এবং তাদের কাছ থেকে ৮৫০গ্রাম হেরোইন উদ্ধার হয়। ধৃত নাজিবুল সেখের বাড়ি সুতি থানার হাসানপুর গ্রামে, রাহুল সেখের বাড়ি সুতি থানার হারুয়া এলাকায়, সহিদুল সেখের বাড়ি লালগোলা থানার পাঠানপাড়া একালায় এবং সফিকুল ইসলামের বাড়ি লালগোলা থানার বিশ্বনাথপুর গ্রামে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। ধৃতদের সঙ্গে আর কেউ জড়িত আছে কিনা তদন্ত শুরু করেছে সুতি থানার পুলিশ। উদ্ধার হওয়া হেরোইনের আর্ন্তজাতিক বাজার মূল্য প্রায় ১কোটি টাকা বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
ধৃতদের বুধবার আদালতে তোলা হলে পুলিশ ৭দিনের পুলিসি হেফাজতে নেওয়ার আবেদন জানাবে বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
