বড়সড় পথ দুর্ঘটানয়ার সাক্ষী হয়ে থাকলো বহরমপুর বাসি। এদিন বহরমপুরে ট্রাক ও ম্যাটারোর মুখোমুখি ধাক্কার ঘটনায় মৃত দুই আহত এক। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে বুধবার বহরমপুর থানার কলাবাগান এলাকায়।
এদিন দুপুরে ট্রাক ও ম্যাটারোর মুখোমুখি ধাক্কায় ঘটনাস্থলে মৃত দুই জনের, আহত আরও একজন। বুধবার কান্দী থানার জীবন্তি থেকে একটি মাছ ভর্তি ম্যাটারো পুকুরে মাছ ছেড়ে বহরমপুরের দিকে ফিরছিল। সেই সময় বহরমপুর-কান্দী গামী একটি ট্রাক নিয়ন্ত্রন হারিয়ে ম্যাটারোকে ধাক্কা মারে।ঘটনাস্থলেই মারা যায় হাতিমুল সেখ ও সিরাজুল সেখ নামে দুই মাছ ব্যবসায়ী।
স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এসে আহতকে উদ্ধার করে করে চিকিৎসার জন্য মুর্শিদাবাদ মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠিয়েছে। বহরমপুর থানার পুলিস ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে মৃতদেহ দুটি উদ্ধার করে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠিয়েছে। ঘাতক ট্রাকটিকে আটক করা গেলেও চালক চলাতক বলে জানা গিয়েছে। মৃতদের বাড়ি নবগ্রাম থানা এলাকায় বলে জানা গেছে।
