বহরমপুরঃ শুক্রবার গভীর রাত্রে বহরমপুর পুলিস আবাসনে পরপর ৩টি ঘরে চুরি, আতঙ্কিত আবাসনের অন্যান্য বাসিন্দারা। জেলার বিভিন্ন পুলিস কর্মীদের আবাসন বলতে “পদ্মা পুলিস হাউজিং স্টাফ” এই আবসনে মাঝে মধ্যেই সাইকেল, মোটর সাইকেল ছোট খাটো চুরি নিত্য দিনের ঘটনা বলে জানিয়েছেন আবাসনের বাসিন্দারা। শুক্রবার গভীর রাত্রে বহরমপুরের “পদ্মা পুলিস হাউজিং স্টাফ” এর “C” বিল্ডিং, “F” বিল্ডিং এবং “M” বিল্ডিং ৩টি ঘরের তালা ভেঙ্গে চুরি হয়েছে টাকা-পয়সা, গয়না ও অন্যান্য দামী জিনিষপত্র। এই আবসনে পুলিস কর্মিদের পরিবারের লোকজনেরাই থাকে, আর সেই পুলিসের ঘরে চুরি। ফলে আতঙ্কিত শহরের বাসিন্দারা।শনিবার ঘটনার খবর পেয়ে বহরমপুর থানার পুলিস ঘটনাস্থলে এসে চুরি হওয়া ঘর গুলিকে দেখে গেছেন এবং অন্যান্য বাসিন্দাদের সাথে কথা বলে গেছেন।
সাধারন মানুষের বক্তব্য যেখানে পুলিস কর্মীদের বাড়িতে নিরাপত্তা নেই তাদের বাড়িতে চুরি হচ্ছে। সেখানে আমাদের বাড়িতে চুরি হবে সেটা তো সাধারন ব্যাপার। উল্লেখ্য আবাসনের যে সব পুলিস কর্মীরা ছুটিতে আছেন বা দূরে কোন জায়গায় ডিউটি আছে তাদের বাড়িতেই চুরি হয়েছে। অতএব চোরেরা এই সব খবরা খবর রাখছেন। সেই কারনেই কেউ আবাসন ছেড়ে বাইরে কোথাও যেতে পারছেন না। তাদের অভিযোগ বারবার পুলিসের কাছে পুলিসি পাহারার ব্যাবস্থা করতে বলা হলেও পুলিস কোন ব্যাবস্থা নিচ্ছে না।
