বহরমপুরঃ বাড়িতে দেহ ব্যাবসা চালানোর অভিযোগে বাড়ি ভাংচুর, রাস্তা অবরোধ এবং বাড়ির মালিককে মারধোর।শনিবার দুপুরে স্থানীয়রা একত্রিত হয়ে রাস্তায় নেমে প্রতিবাদ জানায় এবং বহরমপুর-জলঙ্গী রাজ্য সড়ক প্রায় ৩০মিনিট ধরে অবরোধ করে রাখে। এই খবর পেয়ে বহরমপুর থানার সিভিক ভলেন্টিয়াররা সেখানে গেলে স্থানীয়ারা তাদের ওই বাড়িতে আটক করে রাখে। শনিবার দুপুরে বহরমপুর বানজেটিয়া পাশফোর্ট অফিস সংলগ্ন এলাকায় ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে। স্থানীয়দের অভিযোগ দীর্ঘদিন ধরে এলাকার বাসিন্দা সুনীল মন্ডল তার নিজের বাড়িতে মহিলাদের নিয়ে দেহ ব্যাবসা চালান। এর ফলে এলাকার পরিবেশ নষ্ট হচ্ছে এবং এলাকায় চুরি ছিনতাইয়ের ঘটনা দিন দিন বেড়ে চলছে। সুনীল মন্ডলের বাড়িতে ব্যাপক ভাংচুর চালায় স্থানীয়ারা। পরে বহরমপুর থানার বিশাল পুলিস বাহিনী সেখানে গিয়ে বাড়ির মালিক সুনীল মন্ডল, তার স্ত্রী এবং ছেলে শুভ মণ্ডল, এবং আরও একজন ব্যাক্তিকে পুলিস আটক করে থানায় নিয়ে আসে। সেই সময় উত্তেজিত জনতা অভিযুক্ত সুনীল মন্ডলকে, তার স্ত্রী এবং ছেলেকে লাঠি কিল চড় দেয় এবং মারধোর করে। পুলিস এসে পরিস্থিতি সামাল দেয়।
