দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণা: দিদির বাড়িতে বেড়াতে এসে নৃশংস ভাবে খুন হয়েছিল এক তরুণী। নিহত তরুনীর নাম রাকিবা গাজী। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছিল গত শনিবার সকালে দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণা জেলার জীবনতলা থানার বাগমারী গ্রামে। ঐ তরুণীকে গলা কেটে খুন করা হয়েছে বলে অভিযোগও ওঠে। এই ঘটনায় ঐ তরুণীর জামাইবাবুর হাত রয়েছে বলে দাবী করেছিলেন স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা। ঘটনার পর থেকেই অভিযুক্ত জামাইবাবু জিয়ারুল মোল্ল্যা পলাতক। রবিবার সকালে বাইরে পালিয়ে যাওয়ার ছক নিয়ে তালদি ষ্টেশনে আসে জিয়ারুল,ইতিমধ্যে জীবনতলা থানার পুলিশ গোপন সুত্রে খবর পেয়ে তালদি থেকে জিয়ারুল মোল্ল্যাকে গ্রেফতার করে।
জিয়ারুল পুলিশের কাছে স্বীকার করেছে যে,সে তার শ্যালিকা রাকিবা গাজীকে খুন করেছে। সে অারো জানিয়েছে গত তিন বছর ধরে শ্যালিকা রাকিবার সাথে অবৈধ সম্পর্ক ছিল ইদানিং রাকিবা সেই অবৈধ সম্পর্কের কথা পরিবারের লোকেদের কাছে বলে দেবে বললেই জিয়ারুল নিজের অপকর্ম ঢাকার জন্য শ্যালিকা কে খুন করে।
রাকিবার দিদি হাবিবা ও তার বাবা হারান গাজী বলেন “জিয়ারুল যেভাবে রাকিবা কে খুন করেছে ওর কঠিন শাস্তি চাই”। পুলিশ সুত্রে জানা গেছে অভিযুক্ত জিয়ারুল কে আজ আলিপুর অাদালতে তোলা হবে।
