মুর্শিদাবাদঃ শুক্রবার সকাল সাড়ে ১১টা নাগাদ মুর্শিদাবাদ পুলিস সুপার মুকেশ কুমার বহরমপুর পুলিস সুপারের অফিসে এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করে জানান যে লালগোলা থানার পুলিস গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে বৃহস্পতিবার রাত্রে লালগোলার ময়া ফুটবল ময়দানে নিরমা ব্রিক ফিল্ড সংলগ্ন এলাকায় মহম্মদ তসলিম সেখ, জাহির সেখ, রাকিবুল রহমান এবং আনোয়ার হোসেন নামে ৪জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে তাদের কাছ থেকে উদ্ধার হয় ৬৯০গ্রাম হেরোইন, হেরোইন তৈরীর সরঞ্জাম হিসাবে ৪০০০মিলি লিটার কোডাইন, ৫ কেজি সোডিয়াম কার্বোনেট, ৩লিটার ইথাইল ক্লোরাইড।
এদিন রাত্রে লালগোলার ময়া ফুটবল এলাকায় ধৃতরা হেরোইন পাচার করার জন্য তারা তৈরী হচ্ছিল সেই সময় লালগোলা থানার পুলিস সেখান থেকে ৩জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে। ধৃতদের মধ্যে মহম্মদ তসলিম সেখ, জাহির সেখ, রাকিবুল রহমান এর বাড়ি লালগোলা থানার কালিকাপুর এলাকায় এবং আনোয়ার হোসেনের বাড়ি আসামের কামরুপ জেলার জালুকবাড়ি এলাকায় বলে জানিয়েছে পুলিস সুপার মুকেশ কুমার। তাদের মধ্যে জাহির সেখকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করে পুলিস জানতে পেরেছে যে জাহির সেখ নিজেই হেরোইন তৈরী করে। পুলিস সুপার আরও জানান হেরোইন তৈরীর সরঞ্জাম গুলি উত্তরবঙ্গ থেকে কিনে আনা হয়েছে। ধৃতদের শুক্রবার আদালতে তোলা হলে পুলিস ১২দিনের পুলিসি হেফাজতের আবেদন করবেন। উল্লেখ্য ধৃত জাহির সেখ ২০১৫ সালে হেরোইন পাচারকারী অভিযোগে গ্রেপ্তার হয়। তারপর সে জামিন পেলে আবার হেরোইন পাচারে যুক্ত হয়। বাজেয়াপ্ত হওয়া হেরোইন সহ সমগ্র জিনিষের আর্ন্তজাতিক বাজার মূল্য প্রায় ৩৭লক্ষ টাকা বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
