রেজিনগরঃ ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে রেজিনগর থানার ছেতিয়ানী ঘোষপাড়া এলাকায়। মৃত গৃহবধূর নাম শেফালী বিবি(১৯)। সূত্রের খবর গত ৭মাস আগে রেজিনগর থানার কাশিপুরের মেয়ে শেফালী বিবির চাহিদা মতো পণ দিয়ে বিয়ে দেওয়া হয় রেজিনগর থানার ছেতিয়ানী ঘোষপাড়ার বাসিন্দা রফিকুল সেখের সঙ্গে। বাড়তি পনের টাকা না পেয়ে গৃহবধূকে পুড়িয়ে মারার অভিযোগ স্বামী সহ শ্বশুর বাড়ির লোকেদের বিরুদ্ধে। মেয়ের বাবার বাড়ির লোকেদের অভিযোগ বিয়ের পর থেকেই ২-৩ মাস পরপর বাবার বাড়ি থেকে বাড়তি পণের টাকা আনার জন্য চাপ দিতে থাকে শ্বশুর বাড়ির লোকজন। বাবার বাড়ি থেকে টাকা না আনলে জুটত শারীরিক ও মানসিক অত্যাচার। বুধবার শ্বশুর বাড়ির লোকজন ওই গৃহবধূকে ফের টাকা আনার চাপ দিলে সে টাকা আনতে যেতে অস্বীকার করে। তখন শ্বশুর বাড়ির লোকজন বেলা ১০টা নাগাদ ওই গৃহবধূকে ঘরে ঢুকিয়ে কেরোসিন তেল ঢেলে গায়ে আগুন লাগিয়ে দেয়। তার চিৎকারে আশেপাশের লোকজন ছুটে এসে ওই গৃহবধূকে উদ্ধার করে মুর্শিদাবাদ মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসার জন্য পাঠায়। বৃহস্পতিবার ভোরে শেফালী বিবির মৃত্যু হয়। মৃত শেফালী বিবির বাড়ির লোকজন শেফালী বিবির স্বামী রফিকুল সেখ, শ্বশুর যুবেদ সেখ ও শ্বাশুড়ির নামে থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের করেন। পুলিস সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে অভিযুক্তরা পলাতক। তাদের খোঁজে তল্লাশি চালাচ্ছে রেজিনগর থানার পুলিস। মৃতদেহটি ময়না তদন্তের জন্য মুর্শিদাবাদ মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছে।
