হাওড়া চ্যাটার্জী হাঠ থানার থানার অন্তর্গত ১২ নম্বর অম্বিকা ঘোষাল লেনে আজ ভোররাতে একটি বহুতল বাড়ির দোতলা থেকে জানালা দিয়ে এক বৃদ্ধার হাত থেকে সোনার বাউটি ছিনতাই করে পালায় কয়েকজন দুষ্কৃতী। সূত্রের খবর ওই বৃদ্ধ মহিলার নাম মায়া সেট ৭৫ বছর বয়স তিনি বহুদিন ধরে ওই ফ্ল্যাটে বসবাস করতেন মহিলার অভিযোগ ফ্লাটের পাইপ দিয়ে উপরে উঠে জানালা দিয়ে হাত গলিয়ে হাত ধরে টেনে তার হাত থেকে সোনার বাউটি ছিনতাই করে পালায়। বৃদ্ধ মহিলার হাতে গুরুতর আঘাত হয় তিনি চিৎকার করতেই এলাকার আশপাশের স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা ছুটে আসেন উনাকে আহত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে হাওড়া একটি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে নিয়ে গেলে চিকিৎসকরা প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা করে কলকাতা একটি বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয় আহত অবস্থায়। এই ঘটনা হাওড়া চ্যাটার্জীহাট থানায় একটি অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয় পুরো বিষয়টি তদন্ত শুরু করেছে পুলিশ ।
