ইসলামপুরঃ মৃত গৃহবধূর নাম লাবনি পাল। গৃহবধুর অস্বাভাবিক মৃত্যু ঘিরে চাঞ্চল্য মুর্শিদাবাদের ইসলামপুরে। রবিবার সকালে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে ইসলামপুর থানার পালপাড়া এলাকায়। এদিন সকাল নটা নাগাদ নিজের ঘর থেকে তার ঝুলন্ত মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার হয়। মৃতার পরিবারের লোকজনের অভিযোগ তাদের মেয়েকে খুন করে ঝুলিয়ে দেওয়া হয়ছে। বছর তিনেক আগে ওই গ্রামেরই যুবক হিরা পালের সাথে প্রেম করে বিয়ে করেন লাবনি। তারপর থেকেই শ্বশুর বাড়ির লোকজন কোন কারন ছাড়ায় শারিরীক ও মানসিক নির্যাতন করত লাবনিকে বলে অভিযোগ। পরিবারের আরও অভিযোগ তাদের মেয়েকে স্বামী ও শ্বশুরবাড়ির লোকজন মেরে গলায় ফাস লাগিয়ে ঝুলিয়ে দিয়েছে। ইসলামপুর থানার পুলিস মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তে পাঠিয়েছে পুলিশ। তবে এখন পর্যন্ত থানায় কোন লিখিত অভিযোগ দায়ের হয়নি বলে জানা গিয়েছে।
