উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার হেমতাবাদ ব্লকের পাটইর প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে বন্ধ ক্লাসরুমে আগুন লাগার ঘটনায় চাঞ্চল্য ছড়াল এলাকায়। স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানাগছে শুক্রবার রাত্রি এগারোটা নাগাদ পাটইর প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের একটি ক্লাসরুমে আগুন জ্বলতে দেখে স্থানীয়রা।
পরে হেমতাবাদ থানার পুলিশ ও দমকলে খবর দেওয়া হলে দমকলের দুইটি ইঞ্জিন এসে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনে। এদিনের ঘটনায় ক্লাসরুমের দরজা জানালার পাশাপাশি ঘরের ভেতরে রাখা বেশ কিছু গাছের গুড়ি পুড়ে নষ্ট হয়ে যায়। তবে কি ভাবে ক্লাস রুমে আগুন লাগলো তা জানা জায়নি। হেমতাবাদ থানার পুলিশ ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে।
