তৃনমূল ও কংগ্রেসের সংঘর্ষে বোমা গুলি, গুলিবিদ্ধ দুই কংগ্রেস কর্মী। ঘটনা উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার চোপড়া থানার দাসপাড়া গ্রামপঞ্চায়েতের চোপড়ামাড়ি এলাকায়। এলাকায় ব্যাপক উত্তেজনা। ঘটনাস্থলে চোপড়া থানার বিশাল পুলিশবাহিনী। আহতদের ইসলামপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। কংগ্রেসের অভিযোগ, পুলিশের গুলিতেই আহত হয়েছে তাদের কর্মীরা।
স্থানীয়সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে গতকাল রাতে চোপড়ার দাসপাড়া গ্রামপঞ্চায়েতের চোপড়ামারি এলাকায় এক তৃনমূল কর্মীর বাড়িতে হামলা চালায় কংগ্রেস আশ্রিত দুস্কৃতীরা। আজ চোপড়া থানার পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থল চোপড়ামারি গ্রামে তদন্তে গেলে কংগ্রেস আশ্রিত দুষ্কৃতীরা বোমা গুলি নিয়ে পুলিশের উপর আক্রমণ করে। কংগ্রেসের অভিযোগ, পুলিশ সেসময় গুলি চালালে সমিরুল ইসলাম ও অরিফুল ইসলাম নামে তাদের দুই কর্মী গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়। পুলিশসূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, তৃনমূল কংগ্রেস ও কংগ্রেসের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষে গুলিবিদ্ধ হওয়ার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। আহতদের ইসলামপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে। এলাকায় ব্যাপক উত্তেজনা থাকায় পুলিশ পিকেট বসানোর পাশাপাশি চলছে পুলিশের টহলদারি।আহতদের উত্তরবঙ্গ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তর করা হয়েছে।
