দুর্ঘটনা থেকে রক্ষা পেল রাধিকাপুর-কাটি হার প্যাসেঞ্জার

সোমবার অল্পের জন্য বড়সড় দুর্ঘটনার হাত থেকে রক্ষা পেল রাধিকাপুর–কাটিহার প্যাসেঞ্জার ট্রেন। রেলের আর পি এফ সূত্রের খবরে জানা যায় সোমবার সকাল সাড়ে দশটার সময় প্রতিদিনের মত রাধিকাপুর থেকে কাটি হার যাবার সময় রায়গঞ্জ-বাঙালবাড়ী স্টেশনের মাঝে রেল লাইনের মাঝে বেশ কিছু বোম গ্রামবাসীরা দেখতে পায়।সাথে সাথে গ্রাম বাসীরা রেলের গেটম্যানকে এই খবরটি জানিয়ে দেয়। রেলের গেটম্যান তৎক্ষণাৎ রায়গঞ্জ ও বাঙালবাড়ি স্টেশন মাস্টারকে এই খবর জানিয়ে দেয়।ইতিমধ্যেই ট্রেনটি ঘটনাস্থলের কিছু দূরে এলে ট্রেনটিকে থামানো হয়।ঘটনাস্থলে ছুটে আসেন আর পি এফ কমান্ড্যান্ট নজরুল খান,আর পি এফ হেড কনেস্টবল সমীর রায়, আর পি এফ তেজপাল সিং।

মালদা থেকে রেলের বোম স্কোয়ার্ডের দল খবর পেয়েই তড়িঘড়ি ঘটনাস্থলে ছুটে আসে।খবর নিয়ে জানা যায় সোমবার পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের জন্য কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের রাখা এই বোমগুলি রেল লাইনের মাঝে লুকিয়ে রাখা হয়েছিল কোন অপকর্ম করার জন্য। উদ্ধার হওয়া বোমগুলি নিষ্ক্রিয় করবার পর পুনরায় ট্রেনটিকে যাত্রা করবার অনুমতি দেয় কাটি হারের ডি আর এম।এই ঘটনায় গ্রাম বাসীদের পুরস্ক্রিত করবার কথা ভাবা হচ্ছে বলে জানা জায়।
