বাংলা এক্সপ্রেস: ডালখোলায় মালগাড়িতে আগুন। ৩৪ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়কের উপরে আগুন মালগাড়িতে। ঘটনার জেরে তীব্র চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে স্থানীয়দের মধ্যে। ব্যাহত যানচলাচল। ঘটনাস্থলে দমকলের ইঞ্জিন পৌঁছেছে। চলছে আগুন নেভানোর কাজ।

জানা গেছে, কাটিহার থেকে গৌহাটি যাচ্ছিল মালগাড়িটি। ডালখোলা এলাকায় পৌঁছতেই গোবর সার বোঝাই ওই মালগাড়িটটিতে আগুন লাগে। ঘটনাটি রেলকর্মীদের নজরে আসতেই ইঞ্জিন থেকে আলাদা করে দেওয়া হয় বগিটিকে।

খবর দেওয়া হয় দমকল বিভাগে। ইসলামপুর থেকে দমকলের ইঞ্জিন এসে আগুন নেভানোর কাজ শুরু করে। বেশকিছুক্ষণের চেষ্টায় অবশেষে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে। এদিকে মালগাড়িতে আগুন লাগার ঘটনায় ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ায় স্থানীয়দের মধ্যে।

বন্ধ হয়ে যায় ৩৪ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়কে যানচলাচল ব্যবস্থা। থমকে যায় বহু দূর পাল্লার ট্রাক ও বাস।
