দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুরঃ শনিবার রাজ্য নির্বাচন কমিশন পঞ্চায়েত ভোটের দিন ঘোষনা করেছেন। সাথে সাথে রঙ তুলি নিয়ে দেওয়াল লিখন শুরু করে দিয়েছে দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলা বিজেপি কর্মীরা। তারা আগে ভাগে দেওয়াল লেখা শুরু করলেও এখনও পর্যন্ত কোন প্রার্থীর নাম তারা ঠিক করে উঠতে পারেনি। সে বিষয়ে বিজেপির জেলা সভাপতি শুভেন্দু সরকার জানিয়েছেন জেলায় তাদের প্রার্থী বাছাইয়ের কাজ শেষ। রাজ্যের অনুমোদনের অপেক্ষা মাত্র। অনুমোদনের কাগজ পত্র এসে গেলেই তারা সব ব্লকের ত্রিস্তরের প্রার্থীদের নাম ঘোষনা করে দেবেন।
বিজেপি-র জেলা সভাপতি শুভেন্দু সরকার বলেন আমরা আমাদের কেন্দ্রীয় নেতৃত্বের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী এই পঞ্চায়েত ভোটের জন্য বহু আগে থেকেই প্রস্তুতি সেরে রেখেছি। তাই এবারের পঞ্চায়েত ভোট আমাদের কাছে ” বিনা যুদ্ধে নাহি দেব সুচাগ্র মেদেনী” । পঞ্চায়েত ভোটের দামামা বেজে ওঠার সাথে সাথে এখনও পর্যন্ত বিজেপি দলকেই জেলায় রঙ তুলি নিয়ে ঝাপিয়ে পড়তে দেখা গেলেও অনান্য রাজনৈতিক দলগুলিকে এখনও সেভাবে ভোটের আসরে নামতে দেখা যায় নি। রাজ্য নির্বাচনের ঘোষনা অনুযায়ী দক্ষিন দিনাজপুর জেলায় পঞ্চায়েত ভোট হবে আগামী ৫ মে শনিবার। হাতে সময় মাত্র ৩৪ দিন।
