বাংলা এক্সপ্রেস প্রতিনিধি ,ভাঙ্গড় ঃ পাওয়ার গ্রিড এলাকার মানুষদের মধ্যে আস্থা ফেরাতে এবং উন্নয়নের বার্তা দিতে ঢিবা বাজারে শুরু হল জৈব কৃষি মেলা।
সোমবার আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে পোলেরহাট ২ নং অঞ্চলের ঢিব ঢিবা বাজারে জৈব কৃষি মেলার সূচনা করেন ভাঙড় ২ নং পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি আরাবুল ইসলাম। এই অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন, কৃষির কর্মাধ্যক্ষ আব্দুর রহিম, ভূমির কর্মাধ্যক্ষ মোমিনুল ইসলাম, পঞ্চায়েত প্রধান হাকিমুল ইসলাম সহ কৃষি অধিকর্তারা। এই মেলা দুই দিন ধরে চলবে বলে জানা গিয়েছে। মেলাতে জৈব কৃষিকাজে জৈব সারের ব্যাবহারের উপকারিতা বোঝানোর পাশাপাশি কৃষকদের কৃষি সহায়ক যন্ত্রোপতিও বিতরন করা হবে। সোমবার ও মঙ্গলবার দুদিন ধরে মেলা চলবে। মেলার উদ্বোধন করে আরাবুল ইসলাম বলেন, জৈব সারের মাধ্যমে কৃষিকাজের ওপর জোর দিতে হবে। এই মেলা থেকে এলাকার মানুষ উপকৃত হবেন। এই মেলা থেকে এলাকার কৃষকদের জৈব কৃষিকাজে উৎসাহিত করতে নানা রকমের জৈব সার এবং কৃষি সহায়ক যন্ত্রোপাতিও প্রদান করা হবে। বিদ্যুৎ সাব স্টেশন নিয়ে অশান্ত ভাঙড়ে শান্তি ফেরাতে এবং কৃষিকাজে এলাকার কৃষকদের উৎসাহিত করতে এই মেলা অনেকটাই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে বলে মনে করছেন ভাঙড়ের রাজনৈতিক মহল।
