খবরইন্ডিয়াঅনলাইনঃ তৈরি হচ্ছে তামিলের জনপ্রিয় সায়েন্স ফিকশন ছবি ‘ইনথিরান-দ্য রোবটের’। তামিল চলচ্চিত্রের জীবন্ত কিংবদন্তি রজনীকান্ত আবারও মূল চরিত্রে অভিনয় করছেন ছবিটির। ‘ইনথিরান-দ্য রোবট-২’ পরিচালনা করবেন এই সিরিজের প্রথম ছবির পরিচালক এস সঙ্কর।
ছবির মহরত উপলক্ষে সম্প্রতি এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে জানানো হয়, ছবির প্রযোজক প্রতিষ্ঠান লিকা প্রডাকশন্সের পরিকল্পনা ছিল ঘটা করে ছবির মহরত অনুষ্ঠান করার। কিন্তু চেন্নাইয়ের বন্যার কারণে এই পরিকল্পনা থেকে সরে আসেন তারা।
বলিউড অভিনেতা অক্ষয় কুমার রোবট-২ তে ভিলেন চরিত্রে অভিনয় করবেন বলে শোনা যাচ্ছে। আসলে এই ছবিতে ভিলেন চরিত্রে অভিনয় করার প্রস্তাব দেয়া হয়েছিল হলিউডের জনপ্রিয় অ্যাকশন হিরো আরনল্ড সোয়ার্জনেগারকে। সোয়ার্জনেগার চুক্তিবদ্ধ না হওয়াতেই অক্ষয় এই ছবির ভিলেন চরিত্রে অভিনয় করতে যাচ্ছেন।
এই ছবিতে রজনীকান্তের বিপরীতে নায়িকার চরিত্রে অভিনয় করবেন তামিল অভিনেত্রী অ্যামি জ্যাকসন। আর সংগীত পরিচালনা করবেন খ্যাতিমান সংগীতজ্ঞ এ আর রাহমান।
চলচ্চিত্রটি থ্রিডি আকারে চিত্রায়ন করা হবে। রোবট-২ এর অ্যানিমেশনের কাজ করবে জুরাসিক পার্ক, আইরন ম্যান এবং অ্যাভেনঞ্জার্সের মতো বড় বাজেটের চলচ্চিত্রের অ্যানিমেশনের কাজ করা যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের প্রতিষ্ঠান লিগ্যাসি ইফেক্টস।
প্রসঙ্গত, রোবট সিরিজের প্রথম ছবিটি মুক্তি পায় ২০১০ সালে ১ অক্টোবর। বক্স অফিস হিট করেছিল চলচ্চিত্রটি।
