পরিতোষ বর্মণঃ “সিপিএমগিরি একদম করবেন না, যদি কিছু করতেই চান তাহলে মানুষের উপকার করুন মানুষের ভালো করুন, শেষ বারের জন্য বলছি বামফ্রন্ট করবেন না, আর যদি বামফ্রন্ট করেন তার ফল ভালো হবে না” ঠিক এমন ভাবেই হুঁশিয়ারি দিলেন বঙ্গীয় কারারক্ষী সমিতির রাজ্য যুগ্ম সহ সম্পাদক লিপন কর। রবিবার দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার বালুরঘাট সংশোধনাগারে বঙ্গীয় কারারক্ষী সমিতির বালুরঘাট জেলা কমিটির উদ্যোগে মানবিক উৎসবে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে ঠিক এমন ভাবেই বিরোধীদের হুমকি দেন তিনি। তিনি বাম কর্মচারীদের হুমকির সুরে বলেন, বঙ্গীয় কারারক্ষী সমিতি এবং মমতা বন্ধ্যোপাধ্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে কোনও রকম কথা যদি বলেন “তবে জলপাইগুড়ি থেকে বালুরঘাটে আট ঘণ্টায় পৌঁছে যাব”। “জেলের ভেতরে সিপিএমগিরি করবেন না, এর ফল ভালো হবে না”।
এদিন বালুরঘাট সংশোধনাগারে বঙ্গীয় কারারক্ষী সমিতির মানবিক উৎসবে এক সাজাপ্রাপ্ত ব্যক্তির সন্তান এবং সংশোধনাগারের অস্থায়ী মহিলা কর্মীর কন্যাকে মাধ্যমিকে ভালো ফল করার জন্য পাঁচ হাজার টাকা করে দেওয়া হয় পড়াশুনার জন্য। এছাড়াও স্থানীয় দুঃস্থ ৫০ জন ছাত্রছাত্রীদের স্কুল ব্যাগ, পেন্সিল বক্স ও জলের বোতল তুলে দেওয়া হয় সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে।
