খবরইন্ডিয়াঅনলাইনঃ রাতে নিজের গাড়ি নিজেই চালিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরছিলেন কণ্ঠশিল্পী আসিফ আকবর। এসময় শেরাটনের সামনে দুর্ঘটনার শিকার হয় তার গাড়ি। পেছন থেকে আসিফের গাড়িকে ধাক্কা মারে একটি ট্রাক। এতে গাড়ির একটু ক্ষতি হলেও অক্ষত আছেন আসিফ। তবে বুকের পাঁজরে বেশ ব্যথা পেয়েছেন তিনি। আসিফ জানান, ‘বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে বাড়ি ফিরছিলাম নিজে গাড়ী চালিয়ে। শেরাটনের মোড় হয়ে মিন্টু রোড ধরে মগবাজারের বাসায় আসবো। বাঁয়ে ইন্ডিকেটর দিয়ে ৫০/৬০ কিলো গতিতে গাড়ি চলছিলো। পেছন থেকে প্রতিযোগীতারত দুটি ট্রাকের একটি সজোরে আমার গাড়িতে আঘাত করে। সিট বেল্ট বাধা না থাকলে হয়তো গাড়ি থেকে ছিটকে বেরিয়ে যেতাম, গাড়ি উল্টে গিয়ে আইল্যান্ডে আছড়ে পড়তো । রক্তাক্ত হতাম, মৃত্যু ও হতে পারতো। শক্ত হাতে ষ্টিয়ারিং ধরে গাড়ীটার নিয়ন্ত্রনে রাখতে পেরেছি। বুকের পাঁজরে ব্যাথা পেয়েছি। আপনাদের ভালোবাসায় বেঁচে আছি।
