বিকাশ সাহাঃ রায়গঞ্জে মধু চক্রের আসর থেকে মহিলা পুরুষ মিলে আটক ৯ জন। গোপন সুত্রের খবরের ভিত্তিতে এদিন শনিবার উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার রায়গঞ্জের সোহরাই মোড় এলাকার ৩৪ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়কের ধারের একটি বেসরকারী রিসোর্টে অভিযান চালিয়ে চারজন যুবতি সহ পাঁচ যুবককে আটক করলো রায়গঞ্জ থানার পুলিশ।
পুলিশ সুত্রে জানাযায়, মধু চক্রের আসর থেকে আটক যুবকরা হল, বরুন ঘোষ, বিকি সাহা, টিঙ্কু দাস, সামসুল হক ও মিলন রায়। ধৃতদের বাড়ি উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার রায়গঞ্জ, কালিয়াগঞ্জ, ইটাহার ও দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার হরিরামপুর সহ একজনের বাড়ি বিহারের কাটিহারে । ধৃত যুবতীদের মধ্যে তিন জনের বাড়ি উত্তর ২৪ পরগণা জেলায়, আর একজনের বাড়ি বিহারের কাটিহারে।
উল্লেখ্য রায়গঞ্জের বিভিন্ন রিসোর্টে মধুচক্রের আসর বসার অভিযোগ বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে পুলিশের কাছে আসছিল। এদিন গোপন সুত্রে খবর পেয়ে মধুচক্রের আসরে অভিযান চালায় পুলিশ।
রায়গঞ্জ থানার আইসি গৌতম চক্রবর্তী জানান, মধুচক্রের আসর থেকে ৯ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। ঘটনার সঙ্গে আরও কেউ জড়িত আছে কিনা তা তদন্ত করে দেখা হচ্ছে।
