জানা গিয়েছে বেশকিছু উচ্চপদস্থ রেলকর্মীর মদতে ট্রেনের কামরায় রেল নীড়ের মোড়কে বিক্রি করা হচ্ছিল নিম্নমানের জল৷ দীর্ঘ দিন ধরেই সক্রিয় রয়েছে এই চক্র৷ শুক্রবার রেল নীর চক্র ভাঙে সিবিআই৷ নর্দান রেলওয়ের দুই প্রাক্তন অফিসার এবং দিল্লি ও নয়ডার সাতটি বেসরকারি কোম্পানির বিরুদ্ধে তল্লাশি অভিযানে নেমে ২০ কোটি টাকা উদ্ধার করেন গোয়েন্দা অফিসাররা৷এই দুই আধিকারিককে সাসপেন্ড করা হয়েছে। সিবিআই সূত্রের খবর, ওই সাতটি সংস্থার সঙ্গে জোট বেঁধে ভারতীয় রেলের মালিকানাধীন রেল নীর জলের বোতলে নিম্নমানের পানীয় জল বিক্রি করা হচ্ছিল৷এদিন সেই পর্দা ফাঁস করল সিবিআই।
