খবরইন্ডিয়াঅনলাইনঃ তামিল নাড়ু প্রদেশে চেন্নাই-মাঙ্গালুর এক্সপ্রেস নামের একটি ট্রেনের পাঁচটি বগী লাইনচ্যুত হওয়ায় ৩৯ জন আহত হয়েছে। শুক্রবার সকালে ব্রিধাচালাম থেকে কয়েক কিলোমিটার দুরের পুভানুর স্টেশনের কাছে ট্রেনটি দুর্ঘটনায় পড়লে এর পাঁচটি বগী লাইনচ্যুত হয়ে যায়। তবে দুর্ঘটনার সঠিক কারন এখনও জানা যায়নি।
দুর্ঘটনার পর পরই সেখানে দমকল বাহিনী, রেল কর্মকর্তা এবং উদ্ধারকর্মীরা উপস্থিত হয়েছেন বলে জানিয়েছে টাইমস অব ইন্ডিয়া। আহতদের ঘটনাস্থল থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। তাদেরকে ব্রিধাচালাম এবং চুড্ডালোরের স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে।
ওই দুর্ঘটনার পর সাময়িকভাবে ওই রেল পথে ট্রেন চলাচল বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে।
