খবরইন্ডিয়াঅনলাইনঃ শরৎ চন্দ্রের গল্প অবলম্বনে ১৯৩৫ সালে নির্মিত দেবদাস ছবির প্রথম সবাক সংস্করণটি বাংলাদেশের কাছ থেকে সংগ্রহ করেছে ভারত। এতদিন ছবিটি শুধুমাত্র বালাদেশের কাছেই ছিলো।
বাংলাদেশ তথ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিব মর্তুজা আহমেদের সভাপতিত্বে একটি প্রতিনিধিদল এই ছবিটির প্রথম সবাক সংস্করণের একটি ডিভিডি কপি ভারতীয় ফিল্ম আর্কাইভ কর্তৃপক্ষের হাতে তুলে দেয়া হয়। পিসি বড়ুয়া পরিচালিত ছবিটির হিন্দি ও তামিলসহ চারটি ভাষার কপি থাকলেও, বাংলা ভাষার কপিটি শুধুমাত্র বাংলাদেশের আর্কাইভেই ছিলো।
ভারতের তরফে দেয়া একটি আনুষ্ঠানিক বিবৃতিতে জানানো হয়, ছবিটি এতদিন বাংলাদেশের কাছেই ছিলো সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে ন্যাশনাল ফিল্ম আর্কাইভ অফ ইন্ডিয়ার চেষ্টায় সেটি ফিরিয়ে আনা হয়। ১৯২৮ সালে দেবদাসের একটি নির্বাক চলচ্চিত্র থাকলেও ১৯৩৫ সালের ছবিটি প্রথম সবাক চলচ্চিত্র।
তবে এসময় বাংলাদেশকেও একটি ছবি উপহার দেয় ভারতের ফিল্ম আর্কাইভ। ভারতের প্রথম ছবি ‘রাজা হরিশচন্দ্র’ এর একটি কপি তারা বাংলাদেশ ফিল্ম আর্কাইভকে দেয়। বাংলাদেশ ফিল্ম আর্কাইভের মহাপরিচালক মোহাম্মদ জাহাঙ্গীর হোসেন বলেন, ভারত এই ছবিটি ৩০ বছর ধরে খুঁজছিলো।
