মন্ত্রীকে সরানোর দাবিতে আমরণ অনশন রাজার শহর কোচবিহারে

প্রদীপ কুন্ডুঃ উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তরের ভারপ্রাপ্ত মন্ত্রী গৌতম দেবকে কোচবিহার উন্নয়ন তহবিল কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান পদ থেকে সরানোর দাবিতে আজ থেকে শুরু হল আমরণ অনশন। এই অনশনে বসলেন কোচবিহার প্রজাহিত সাধনী মঞ্চের সদস্যরা। মঙ্গলবার থেকে শহরের সাগরদিঘির পাড়ে গান্ধি মূর্তির কাছে। তাদের দাবি উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন মন্ত্রী গৌতম দেবের বদলে কোচবিহার বাসীর ভোটে নির্বাচিত স্থানীয় জনপ্রতিনিধিকে বসানো হোক। তাদের এই দাবি না মানা পর্যন্ত অনশন জারি থাকবে বলে জানান মঞ্চের সভাপতি আনোয়ার হোসেন। আনোয়ার বাবু বলেন, তৎকালিন মহারাজা জগদিশ চন্দ্র নারায়ণ ভূগেবাহাদুর কোচবিহারে উন্নয়নের জন্য কোচবিহার উন্নয়ন তহবিল গঠন করেন।
